Rev. Bruce Bias, Sr., a native of Washington DC, was born April 21, 1963 to Ben and Thelma Bias, Rev. Bias is the oldest of five children; as time went on the family decide to return to Denmark, SC, where he continued his primary and secondary educational studies, upon graduating from Denmark - Olar High School, he pursued a career in the United States culminating in retirement with 21 years of service; during his time of service he traveled abroad, on numerous occasions and received several awards, metals and certificates for his accomplishments. Rev. Bias accepted his call into the ministry in September 2001 and was ordained August 2006, studied at Vincennes University, Augusta School of Biblical Studies, and The American Baptist College; as time went on Rev Bias’ love for teaching and sharing God’s word grew ever deeper. Rev. Bias served in various capacities of the ministry; including Deacon (Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Hinesville, GA), Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendent (Tender Sprout Christian Life Center, Hephzibah, GA); Pastor’s Armor Bearer (First Baptist Church of Keysville, GA); Associate Minister (Richmond Hill Baptist Church of Hephzibah, GA), and former Pastor of the Morris Chapel MBC of Barnwell, SC. Rev. Bias emphasis on the need for spiritual growth and development through the teaching and preaching of God’s Word, has resulted in God’s elevating him as a chosen vessel in the ministry, his clarion call comes from Ezekiel 33:7. Rev Bias is married to Merian Bias, they have five children Tiffany, Benjamin, Dyamond, Danaka all whom reside in Augusta, GA; and Bruce Bias Jr. (Tianna) of Savannah, GA, two granddaughters Kamiyah and Madison also of Augusta, GA. Rev. Bias is a dedicated man of God with a passion for The Word and People of God, Rev Bias whole heartedly understands the need for equipping the saints for the battlefield, and does not take the task lightly. He is a man of strength in the face of adversity, he is reliable, dependable and a servant with wisdom and knowledge.
